![]() This will change how we interact with 3D Graphics forever." Says BrainDistrict GmbH founder and CEO Markus Moenig. In addition to rendering cool 3D scenes, users will also be able to create games, and small movies using text and speech. Our goal is to give every English-speaking user complete freedom in his or her creativity. This is about to change everyone will now have the power to create a 3D scene on his or her mobile, tablet or any device in a matter of minutes by simply typing text. "Everyone loves 3D, however to date, only a very small percentage of people are able to create 3D scenes and images. ![]() BrainDistrict says it will also be making the Text-to-3D service available for mobile, tablet and Television devices very soon. ![]() The desktop versions of Text-to-3D can render in unlimited resolution and quality. Text-to-3D is currently available for Mac OS X and Windows 7/8 64-Bit operating systems. The new approach allows anyone, from beginners to professionals, to easily create 3D scenes for fun, games, education and 3D printing. The technology behind Text-to-3D is BrainDistrict's patent-pending 3D modeling and rendering program, RaySupreme 3D, which serves as a development platform for text enabled objects and materials. The Text-to-3D is powerful and intuitive, and it is also free. In addition users can also contribute objects to the database and share their experiences with community. They can move the objects around, change the color of the objects, the sizes, materials all by typing the descriptions. Users can also select objects from the content library and add to the scene. Text-to-3D's cloud-based text rendering service will convert the text description into a 3D image in your scene. Here is how it works: users simply type a sentence that describes the image they have in mind, for example, "add a glass table on the floor" or "add a picture of Marilyn Monroe on the wall". It is now possible with BrainDistrict's new Text-to-3D software.īrainDistrict GmbH, a German software developer today released Text-to-3D, an innovative new technology that allows anyone to create 3D models, scenes and environments easily and quickly by typing text commands. Luckily I'm too noob to start getting into Animations, although I've heard they will be added in V2 of Ray supreme so for me at least its not a deal killer as I imagine it'll take me awhile before I need to make use of the more advanced functions.Imagine having the power to create amazing 3D models by simply typing text commands. Perhaps its a personal thing, and I definately see where your coming from either way. I can't argue on toolsets and overall features, I just find the UI a lot easier than I do with Blender. If you want to make buildings for a game, Blender also gives you a game camera mode that has optional gravity so you can better demo your creations while you are making them rather than import them elsewhere and iterate through multiple tests. Blender also has very good dynamic topology features for sculpting terrains and fine details. Blender has a better rendering engine (Cycles) and can do animation and rigging better than most tools I've tried. You may want to look at Blender if you want more features than RaySupreme supports, too. Blender requires some basic navigation knowledge, mind you, because a lot of its functionality is best utilized via hotkeys. RaySupreme is a full-featured, powerful and easy to use 3D modeling, texturing and rendering software that features many of the tools you would expect from any professional 3D software. You can model, render, select and import objects in the same manner as most high-end 3D programs. ![]() The RaySupreme demo (which is just like the full version except for some rendering limitations) has shown me that Blender is much better in terms of ease of use.
